WARRANTY POLICY
PHOENIX notebooks come standard with one-year parts and labour Return to Factory Depot warranty. Two additional years of extended warranty service are available at additional cost at time of purchase.
AIM warrants its computer hardware products to be free from defective materials and faulty workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase by the end user.
Upon written notice of any defect in the computer hardware supplied to AIM within the warranty period, AIM shall at its option replace or repair any hardware portion of the system that it determines to contain defective material or faulty workmanship.
EXTENDED LIMITED WARRANTY
An extended AIM warranty can be purchased for each additional 12 months at an additional cost. AIM offers the following extended warranty options:

EXCLUSIONS
The warranty on your Phoenix computer shall not apply to defects or damage resulting from accident, abuse, acts of third persons, power fluctuations, environmental conditions, any force of nature, or other cause beyond AIM control, alterations to the equipment at Customer's direction.
AIM shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss or injury to business, profits, goodwill, or for exemplary damages.
SERVICE DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD
If your hardware should fail during the warranty period; bring your computer to an authorized AIM Repair Centre. To locate the nearest authorized Service Centre in your area contact AIM at 416-848-7758.
When sending equipment to a AIM Customer Service Centre, follow the repacking guidelines listed below. Also provide a copy of your proof of purchase. We recommend insuring the equipment for shipment.
WARNING: Shipping damage as a result of inadequate packaging is the customer's responsibility. Use the original packing material whenever possible.
REPACKING GUIDELINES for RETURNING your COMPUTER
Remove and retain cables and accessories. Ship your notebook complete with battery pack(s), AC Adapter and/or defective accessories.
1. Include a detailed problem description and/or test samples, which illustrate the problems you are having.
2. Package well. Use the original shipping container and packing materials if possible.
3. Provide your complete name, address, telephone number and fax so we can contact you if required.
Missing Pixels
An active matrix LCD panel with an 800x600 resolution is composed of 1.44 million transistors, and when one of those transistors fails, the LCD panel will have a "missing" or "burnt" pixel.
AIM will replace an 800x600 LCD panel under warranty for 10 or more "missing" or "burnt" pixels.
AIM will replace a 1024x768 or higher resolution LCD panel under warranty for 15 or more "missing" or "burnt" pixels.
